Taking care of each aspect of our being daily

We sometimes feel disconnected from our true selves as we progress through life.

This can make us feel dissatisfied, detached, or empty. It is one of the main reasons why people get depressed.

As human beings, we have several aspects of our beings: spirit, soul, mind, and body. To move in alignment involves connecting all aspects of our being.

There are a simple few activities that you can do daily to ensure that connection:

 

  1. Mindfulness

This practice calms the mind and body. It helps you develop intentionally in the midst of serenity.

2. Laughter

This might appear strange but it is a practice that connects your spirit, soul, mind, and body to connect in an instant. You can use watching comedy, sharing jokes or even start spontaneously.

3. Music

Music is said to be food for the soul. It, however, has been found to elevate the spirit and when combined with dance is great for the body and the mind.
